UK TECH FEST Reveals first round of artists
Earlier this week, the United Kingdom's premiere summertime tech-death/prog-death festival, aptly titled UK Tech-Fest, announced its first wave of artists for 2019.
The festival, now in its eighth year, has now evolved to incorporate an eclectic yet cohesive lineup including a good mix of considerably high profile acts along with several up-and-coming/underground bands.
Hosted at the Newark Showground from July 4th-8th, UK Tech-Fest 2019 will boast Dying Fetus and Monuments as its main headliners, with support from Psycroptic, Revocation, Jon Gomm, amongst many others. Some exciting mid-profile additions include Pennsylvanian progressive death metallers Black Crown Initiate and Wisconsin guitar virtuoso Sarah Longfield, who released her debut album Disparity earlier this year.

The lineup for this years's Tech-Fest is looking extremely solid so far; dozens of bands have yet to be announced, so stay tuned if you're thinking of heading out to the UK to catch this gathering of complexity and brutality.
