Virvum, the tech-death titans from Zürich, Switzerland, have just announced that they and Bloodshot Dawn will co-headline an upcoming tour, gloriously entitled "Interdimensional Spacegoats Across Europe."  Slated for March 2019, this will be Virvum's first time headlining since the release of their debut LP Illuminance in 2016.  The album was received with such widespread critical acclaim that the group was soon signed by Season of Mist, who re-released Illuminance in 2017.  I had the rare opportunity of attending Virvum's first ever American show at Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago; the band delivers their thematically complex and sprawling compositions effortlessly in a live setting, bringing 100% of their progressive nuance to the stage.

Bloodshot Dawn, another force to be reckoned with, saw the release of their latest LP Reanimation in January via Hostile Media, their first since 2014's Demons.  The group continues to defend their status as one of the strongest tech-death acts of the modern scene. Their unique style of pummeling rhythmic madness combined with Virvum's soaring, righteously grandiose guitar solos will pose a formidable threat to the facial constitution of anyone lucky enough to be standing in the audience.
