Infamous Norwegian black metal legends Mayhem have just announced a re-release of their second full-length record, Grand Declaration of War, slated for release this December.  A definite black sheep in the band's tumultuous career, Grand Declaration polarized fans due to its experimental nature, including elements of hip-hop and spoken word excerpts from Nietzsche's "The Antichrist".  The updated version, which has been completely remixed and remastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano at the Orgone Studios in the UK, should introduce the album to new and younger listeners, and hopefully convince older fans to consider it with new ears.
