Evoken Releases new song "Ceremony of bleeding" from upcoming album Hynpagogia

Iconic funeral doom forerunners Evoken have released the second single from their upcoming sixth album, Hypnagogia, which will be the band's first LP in six years. Hailing from Lyndhurst, New Jersey, Evoken formed in the early 90's and released their debut record in 1998, paving forlorn and haunting paths through the enshrouded forests of funeral doom ever since. "Ceremony of Bleeding" is a somber, lyrical piece that sways through layered choral passages complete with orchestral string arrangements before swelling into more jagged riffs accompanied by vocalist John Paradiso's anguished growl.

Hypnagogia will be released November 9th on Profound Lore Records, promising to be another outstanding installment in Evoken's already legendary catalog. Order the album and stream its first two singles now on Bandcamp.
