Two More ungodly Underground
releases announced for November
The first, coming from Italy's legendary I, Voidhanger records, is Matricide in the Temple of Omega by the incredibly prolific black metal duo Ævangelist, consisting of vocalist Ascaris and multi-instrumentalist Matron Thorn, who released their previous LP only three months prior. Their sound is one rife with chaos, raw aggression, and a wide variety of elements borrowed from death, doom, and psychedelia. Matricide is due out November 16th, and is available for pre-order on Bandcamp.

The second LP in question is entitled Sermons, the latest effort from Italy's one-man atmospheric, droning dark ambient project Clavicvla. Interestingly, while Matricide is an LP by an American band being released by an Italian label, Sermons comes from an Italian band via an American label, Sentient Ruin Laboratories. The label states that they are "honored and proud to bring you an aural and sensorially devastating experience like nothing else. A masterpiece of infernal aural terror which expands the mind - stretching it to its inevitable death and dissolution - and which paralyses the flesh." Sermons will be released on November 23rd, and can be pre-ordered on Bandcamp, where you can also stream its first single, "Beelzebut Invocat".
